We're trying to grOW again

We've decided to extend the Doggie Style Team even further.

The number of booking requests and customer enquiries have grown to a level that leaves no time for our Grooming Manager to do anything other than talking to customers. Because of this, we have decided to take on a part time employee to help with the booking requests, leaving our Grooming Manager time to do the 'Management' part of her role.

We have advertised the role on GumTree, so if you know of anyone that is interested,

Our Groomers are Competing in the 11th Irish Grooming Championships

Our groomers have decided to enter the 11th Irish Grooming Championships that will be held at the 1st Pet Expo in the RDS on the 13th & 14th of October.
I'm sure they won't need it but good luck to them and we'll display the silverware proudly.

Maria is settling in

After a number of things that got in our way, Maria has started working with us this week and is settling in very well. She has been out with one of our other groomers, Anki, for the week as an initiall training period.
It's great to get another view of our operation as she has contributed a few very good suggestions on ways to improve our grooming process for our customers. It's amazing what a fresh pair of eyes sees.

New Doggie Style Team Member

Finally, we've managed to find another groomer to join our team. Her name is Maria and she'll be starting with us on the 24th of September. The search has been a long one as we've had problems finding quality groomers in Ireland who are looking to work in the mobile dog grooming industry.

Maria, used to manage a large grooming parlour in Dublin, and has just completed a degree in animal management. We are delighted that she has choosen to join us, ahead of the other offers she was considering, as her experience and knowledge will be a huge help to us and our customers.
